I'm not sure whether this is just a follow up to all the uproar from former English prem players complaining we aren't developing English talent by signing foreign players so freely - but surely when Liverpool currently have Lambert, Lallana, Gerrard, Henderson, Johnson etc they can afford to sign well-established players from Europe.. I for 23 Mill you are talking the sort of price tag you could expect for your Cavanis, Lavezzis and Draxlers.

I mean this is just my opinion, don't support the Reds and don't really care what they do at the end of the day, but I don't know if theres method behind the madness or Rogers is really just that much of an idiot with his signings..

Not convinced 23mil would get you Cavani/Draxler but yes, paying the inflated fees for English players is a silly move. Liverpool have an English core and should look abroad for some talent (e.g. when they looked to the Netherlands for Suarez)

I think Liverpool have some problems scouting players, either that or they have an active board decision to go exclusively for English players.

Yep, problems are clearly deeper rooted in grassroots football. Ridiculous to see the club take more responsibility than they should rather than run away from responsibility
