It's starting to irritate me now, we're struggling to create chances and we're not playing MATA, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to wonder why...

He should leave, I love the guy but I would rather see him play at another club then rot on our bench.

He'll probably go back to Spain, or maybe even Dortmund if they get rid of Reus in January/Summer.

I can't see Reus leaving yet at least for another year, but a deal for Lewandowski would be nice

He wants to stay though but an offer within 40-50m would probably see him leave

In all honesty, I can't see Lewandowski going to Chelsea, even if it's a swap deal for Mata. I think his destination is either Bayern Munchen or a shock move to Real Madrid (just my opinion).

Also, I still maintain that if Reus is going to leave, he'll join the Arsenal. We play very similarly to Borussia, the manager speaks perfect German (and that's one of the reason why Ozil joined us), we're adopting a German/British core now and Reus has already stated his admiration for our club and players.

Anyway, I can see Mata leaving for about 25 million.

Yeh I also believe he will go to Munich or Madrid(who desperately need a ST)

But going from Dortmund to Arsenal is a step down and he won't go in January for definite, unless it's a ridiculous offer.

So? Going from Madrid to Arsenal is a step down, but it happened.

Ozil went to Arsenal because he was unwanted at RM, do you really think he would be there otherwise?

He had offers from many other big clubs, but turned them down to play for us?

Arsenal play in the PL that was probably the major factor in his move, I mean I would rather play for Arsenal over the likes of PSG. It was also more Wenger then anything else.

Exactly, but the Premier League is also better than the Bundesliga. Plus, have you seen Dortmund this year? 9 points behind Bayern already, and I can't see them winning any silverware.

I have to disagree though, I don't think Dortmund are a step up from us.

Yeh we all knew you wouldn't agree, not really a shock is it lmao

Why should or would I agree? What credentials do Dortmund possess that make them a better team than us? Other than the fact they made it to the Champions League final?

The fans and the atmosphere they posses, their starting team, everybody respects them, their advanced youth system, off the top of my head, oh yeh they've won trophies in the last decade.

1. That's one thing I do agree with you on, their atmosphere, fans and stadium are amazing. Very few places in the world can replicate it.
2. Their starting team is good, but I wouldn't argue it's better than ours. If you actually use your head for a second instead of disregarding Arsenal you'd probably agree with me here.

Szczesny > Weidenfeller.
Gibbs > Schmelzer.
Hummels > Koscielny.
Mertesacker > Sokratis/Subotic.
Piszczek > Sagna.
Gundogan > Wilshere/Ramsey.
Flamini/Arteta > Bender/Sahin.
Reus > Cazorla/Podolski.
Ozil > Mkhitaryan.
Walcott > Jakub Blaszykowski.
Lewnadowski > Giroud.

Overall they're quite even teams. Also, Arsenal's youth academy is perhaps one of the best in Europe and we've also won trophies in the last decade.

I actually feel that Dortmund have a better squad at the moment than Arsenal and think that they currently possess a stronger team than Arsenal, but with the premier league how it is at the moment, there is far from a distinct winner in the BPL, there are still about 5 teams that could go on to win it; if Arsenal do pull it out of the bag (which I personally don't think they will), they will have the chance to build further on their squad and become more of a threat to the CL in the future.

After using my 'head' your completely wrong, I watch a lot of Bundesliga and some of those comparisons are ludicrous and mainly biased(like always).
Weindenfeller, Scmlezer, Bender/Sahin and Blaszykowski are all respectively better then their comparisons.
Dortmund have recently achieved so much more success aswell.

At least with Lewandowski we will be hearing where he will be headed in the next few weeks, as his contract runs out in June and I highly doubt Dortmund will let him go at the end of the season on a free transfer.

He also said a few days ago that he would be open to a premier league move, so i'd have to say at the moment that Chelsea have to be the favourites to get him

He's the type of player we need, he has also stated that he would love to play under Mourinho.

Like you said its Dortmund's decision can't them letting him go to BM on a free

We have been linked with Martinez in the papers today, what dya think about him?

I think Martinez is a quality player, we could do with anothing holding midfielder, with Lamps near the end of his career. He is only 25 too, which makes him even more appealing. I'm not sure if we'd be able to get him though

I could quite easily say "well umm, yeah, I think West Ham are a better team than Chelsea because umm, well, I hate Chelsea".

I'm not saying it from a biased point of view. I don't particularly like Dortmund on a personal level, but you have to admire the quality they have in their current squad

I absolutely adore Dortmund, they're my second favourite team behind Arsenal. I'm planning on getting a season ticket very soon for them (because they're cheap and you can get cheap travel to Germany). You're right, the quality is that to be admired, but so is Arsenals. I don't know how you Chelsea fans can deny that? If you (Chelsea) were playing exceptionally well, I'd give you credit... that's the thing. I've already stated my admiration for your squad, so how I can be called biased is ridiculous.

We have a great squad, which from a lot of analyzing, I think is just slightly better than Dortmund's.

I don't adore Arsenal's team. Nor do I adore Chelsea's. We have exceptional players as do Arsenal, but of course neither are complete squads! I prefer teams that have a group of 'less ability' that play better together (Like Southampton, they are a great team) and look more at how well the team plays together, rather than the names they have. Oh, and I never called you biased it was the other way round.

I think we desperately need a holding midfielder like you said but someone known for their passing, e.g Xabi Alonso who can help keep the ball and break down play. We struggle to retain possession against the smaller teams and it really effects us.

I have recently seen that we're linked with Alonso himself, I would love that move to happen.
