I hope Leverkusen put in a good fight against United.

I reckon the furthest Barca will go is the quarter finals I am sick of Pique and Mash screwing everything up. They're good for lower BBVA teams but against Champions League teams they are just shite, Mashy isn't even a defender. I can see us getting absolutely destroyed again this year. Probably either by Bayern again or Real Madrid. I wish we purchased Thiago Silva, arguably the best defender.

Although T.Silva would be a great buy, there are still tons of defenders out there that would fit the Barca style. Hummels is a prime example, a ball-playing defender.


Yeah I would be equally happy with Hummels. Although Marc Bartra has been getting chances recently and he has been perfect in every game. Much better than Pique and Mash, but the problem is the manager doesn't give him enough chances. He's only got playing time because of injuries. I think he has the potential to be our next Puyol, we desperately need someone like Puyol but obviously younger, he has the passion that Pique and Mash don't.

To be honest I hope we don't, I like Luiz but he makes defending mistakes, so he'd just be like Pique and Mash. Most Barca fans and I just want someone solid who is consistent and doesn't make stupid mistakes. But I'd happily take anyone over Pique that's how desperate I am lol

Bartra is a decent young player, nothing spectacular though.


Yeah he is nothing spectacular, but he's good and if we can just sign one solid defender I'd be happy with that. Bartra and ______ at CB with Puyol a sub/back up. Get rid of Pique and Mash. That would make me happy

Bale's freekick was stunning. Even though they overpayed for him he looks like he has the potential to do great in Spain. It'll be interesting to see how good Neymar will be when he's that age though.
