Do they games say what they are? Or does it completely not read the disc? |

it says
"sorry, we can't play this disc" "try an Xbox One game, a music CD, or a movie on blu-ray or dvd" |

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select System > Settings > Power & startup > Power mode & startup Select Power mode, and then select Energy saving. Perform a "hard power cycle" by holding down the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds. Once the console has completely shut down, press the Xbox button on the console again to restart it. Try your disc again. Wait a few seconds to see if the console recognizes it. If the console can now read the disc, you can revert back to Instant-On power mode. |

is it a pre owned console? if so they didnt do a good job testing the system, but from the looks of it you got the issue resolved , i had the issue with my ps4 which they both use blue ray so the fix was like anime said, might be a temp fix might be a perma fix but this can be caused by dirt blocking the lip of the drive bay |
