When I got mine when I turned 18, just closed my eyes to be honest then after a while it felt less scary. Youl be fine bro! Love that you get a tattoo that really means something to you!

Sound bro it was either my hand or neck so I choose neck cause I wanted to see it no matter what I was wearing and where did you have your first? |

If your getting a neck tattoo, be careful what you put on there, a lot of jobs that are good are very strict about what kind of tattoos you got showing. Some jobs will not even hire you if you have one showing. |

I got me a booking this Saturday for a full sleeve aayyyy next year I'm gonna be getting my kids tattooed on side of my head, I too, did want it in my neck, but at least head tatts can be covered.
Best advice is to have a big meal before hand so you don't end up nearly passing out like I did with my first tatt lmao. Have a few energy drinks while his tattooing you also. |

Goodnight sleep the day before the session eat a big meal don't have bad sugar as they call it so fizzy sweets as you get sugar rush and when your getting tatted you won't feel good so like bananas and cups of tea are a better option, listen to music which helps especially for longer sessions, good luck for it anyway bro |

A tattoo on the neck for a first time tattoo is prettt gnarly.
What you'll have to take into account is will it impact your every day life as in Work, future events etc and also it will hurt a lot. But I have a few tattoos and it's your body you do what you want. You can get what you want please post a photo of what you're getting me curious |

I don't have one on my neck, but I have a full sleeve as well as some on my shoulders. It all depends on your pain tolerance. Some people freak out and say it's like a constant bee sting, and other just sit and chill through it all. In my opinion they don't really hurt that much. Obviously it doesn't feel good and whoever says it doesn't hurt at all is just lying to you, but it's definitely a tolerable pain. Good luck bro. |

Honestly bro, people over react when it comes to getting them. It doesn't hurt at all, it may sting in a few spots. But it's not nearly as bad as you think. |
