Ive always known it to be Soda, I've heard other call it pop and it just doesn't sit right lmao

It's known as Soda, some people say Pop to shorten it. Also It's known as Soda Pop, notice soda comes first.

Pretty sure neither are used in the UK. Just whatever the specific drink is called or generalised as fizzy drinks I guess

Yeah so like someone would be like "you want a coke?" Or Fanta, Dr Pepper etc. But then asking in general if someone would like a fizzy drink.
