they key is to get some actual sleep and eat decent food, then the need for caffine becomes much less. |

Because I definitely don't get no where near a good amount of sleep I'll sleep for about 3-4 hours if I'm lucky then be up bright and early working all day ! |

Been drinking roughly 1 can a day for about 9 years now (Screw you college) and the only bad thing I'd say that I've really been effected by is the damage it does to your teeth. Just like any fizzy drink, it does slowly cause damage.
In terms of weight, it's about 200 calories for a can of monster so as long as you're aware of that and plan for it, you're fine on that end. In terms of long term caffeine intake. I notice when I've not had my daily dose of caffeine weather that be from not having an energy drink, coffee or tea but I'm slowly switching to coffee now to attempt to break the habit of energy drinks and slowly want to remove caffeine from my diet entirely soon. Now I'm fitter, I shouldn't need it as much so it's all about breaking the habit of thinking you need a drink when in fact, you don't. TL;DR - They're not bad in moderation. Keep on top of it and you'll be ace. |
