For those that don’t know: back in February Microsoft announced Xbox Game Pass, a new gaming subscription service that grants you unlimited access to over 100 Xbox One and backward compatible Xbox 360 Games at the price point of $9.99 USD per month. How it works is that every month new games will cycle into the subscription, while some will cycle out, meaning you have a constant stream of new experiences to play in your library.
Available on both Windows 10 and Xbox One, Game Pass is only purchasable at a monthly subscription rate. The service is notably not a streaming service, meaning you actually download games; however, downloading games doesn’t mean you own them, but you will have access to them if you retain the subscription. Once you download a game you can play offline for up to 30 days.
The Game Pass also notably comes packed with discounts that include 20% on Xbox One game purchases and 10% on all related add-ons, such as season passes and DLC. The discounts only apply when the base game is currently in the catalog.
A launch library has not been divulged, but we do know that games like Halo 5, Payday 2, and LEGO Batman will be available.
Want more galaxies? More mayhem? More victories? More adventure? More games?
