E3 2017: Call of Duty: WWII Gets Brand New Gameplay Trailer
Anyway, the trailer looked great, and you can check it out for yourself below. Call of Duty fans will undoubtedly like what they see- but the question of whether the fanbase that has felt alienated with recent entries in the series will find the new game up to par remains up for debate.

lugiaisbeast101UberrTaigaAisaka I'm feeling rather disappointment with the trailer, and that's because of the claim from Sledgehammer that they wanted to make it as realistic as possible, staying true to WW2. It seems like it's tackling the American side only; which seems like they're doing their own made up story instead of true American stories from WW2. They removed the Swastika which was such a huge symbol with regards to WW2; yes the Iron Cross was also used but I believe it goes without saying the Swastika was infamous and something that shouldn't be removed from a game trying to base on history. So far there is no Eastern Front or Pacific War, doesn't look like any North African Campaign will be there nor the French Resistance. I guess the only other side they're adding in is the Crimean Campaign; Eastern Front, but that looks like it's for MP possibly. I'm glad they're going back to boots on the ground and going back to WW2, but Sledgehammer really went out of their way trying to claim it would be historically accurate, holding true authenticity to WW2 and so far in the trailer there is a great deal missing.
Thats exactly what I am saying....the swastikas hanging everywhere would have been more historically accurate. Enough with the trying to hold back from offending people...its history and doing it the other way is under played and technically inacurate.
Unfortunately that's the world we live in, people get too easily offended nowadays.
What a shame to be in this, "Caitlyn Jenner is a hero" time period....

Looks pretty decent for a WW2 game. I'm not the most excited about it, but I will most likely still be getting it. Hope it plays well.

Yeah, as far as I'm concerned it's not looking that way. I'm all for what you guys are saying, but even in the real world they just took down the General Robert E. Lee statue in New Orleans within the last month.
Now I'm pretty sure no one believes in slavery, but removing that statue (because people were just recently getting offended by it I guess...) was removing a piece of history no matter what he stood for, and now it looks like they may be doing the same thing with games in a sense.

This game looks pretty awesome. But I'm not sure if I'll buy it to be honest. I have Battlefield 1, why pay for another game that's almost the exact same other than possible zombies that I don't like haha. I guess we'll see as the time comes closer.
