Xbox backward compatibility just added its biggest game in months

Shooter fans rejoice, because the latest Xbox 360 game to join the Xbox One backward compatibility program is right up your alley.

Microsoft’s Major Nelson revealed Call of Duty: Ghosts is now available on Xbox One via the backward compatibility program.

This is the sixth Call of Duty title to become available on the platform, which includes Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and Call of Duty: World at War.

By the way @Everyone saying why they made it Backwards compat. They made borderlands 2 backwards compat also, probably just so friends who want to play with their xbox 360 friends, its not very modded (to my knowledge) and honestly, i really enjoy Ghosts.

They probably made it backwards compatible for the whopping 3,000-4,000 players who play it to make the switch to Xbox One and still have their... "enjoyable" Ghosts game without having to buy the disc again. I really see no point in making it backwards compatible and I also see no point in making MW2 backwards compatible since it'll be full of modders making Xbox One's freeze. An MW2 REMASTER would be much better and would keep the servers separate.

Why is this backwards compatible? It's already been released on Xbox One. I guess it's good for those who don't want to cough up the money again... but then again I don't see the need to.
