Xbox One Games
Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition (Oct. 1-31)
"Developed by Ninja Theory, DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition will include all of the stylish action gameplay from the original release, all previously released downloadable content, including the 'Vergil's Downfall' campaign plus brand new modes and additional content, making this the ultimate offering for Devil May Cry fans. Maximizing the potential of next-gen hardware, the game's high quality production values will run at a stunning 1080p and smooth 60 fps across PlayStation4 and Xbox One."
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (Oct. 16 - Nov. 15)
"You are Talion, a Ranger of the Black Gate, keeping watch over Mordor which has remained undisturbed for ages. In the blink of an eye, everything is taken from you - your friends, your family, and even your own life. Resurrected by a vengeful spirit, you must now embark on a relentless vendetta against those who have wronged you."
Xbox 360 Games
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (Oct. 1 - 15)
"Gabriel Belmont is a member of the Brotherhood of Light, an elite group of holy knights who protect and defend the innocent against the supernatural. His beloved wife was brutally murdered by the evil forces of darkness and her soul trapped for eternity. Neither living nor dead she realizes the horrific truth of what is at stake and guides Gabriel to his destiny and hopefully salvation for the world."
Blood Drive (Oct. 16 - 31)
"It's the entertainment sport for a twisted new age: contestants in weaponized cars battle the undead and each other in an orgy of ultra violence. Shuan of the Dead meets Mad Max in Death Race, set amongst the sinful and greedy fallout aftermath of a zombie-infested Vegas-like city. You have stepped into the bloodiest sports arena on the planet. Can you drive, shoot and mutilate your way to the top?"
Warning: This could very well be a doctored leak, and there's one little detail that we need to point out before we get too hyped.
What's up with the age ratings?
Before you get too excited, take a look at the supposedly leaked image, and see if you notice anything strange. Look at those age ratings. What is going on, here? One Shadow of Mordor we see a standard ESRB rating, while the Devil May Cry box features a totally different rating. On the Xbox 360 games, we see PEGI ratings underneath the "Plays on Xbox One" banner.
So what's going on here? Either this is Microsoft's very strange way of attempting to appeal to multiple regions with a single image, or else it's very lazy photoshop by someone trying to deceive us all. Either way, it's inconsistent and more than a little strange.
We don't have long to wait, though. Since next Monday is October 2, we fully expect Microsoft to drop the official Games With Gold lineup some time this week! Place your bets now! Do you guys think this leak is the real deal, or are we getting a totally different lineup once the official update drops?
