New Xbox 360 Dashboard Update Targets Modders

Microsoft has released a mandatory update, with the key feature supposedly that it re-enables the option to play games straight from turning the system on.

However, it seems as though this was just a smoke screen as they attempt to battle against their own wave of modders, which constantly pirate games on their system.

Numerous users were reporting that following the update, modded copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops and Halo: Reach no longer worked as flashed firmware disc modifications were now blocked.

no you're wrong

a modder goes to the store and BuyS the game and then sets out to "mod" certain aspects of the game

a pirate steals the game off a torrent site and then burns it to disc. The pirate is a thief who need to be stopped before they ruin gamming

if i had to choose i'd take a modder who pays for a game over a thief who steals the game all day long


Modders ruin great games, what has a theif done. Stole 60 dollars from a billion dollar company woe is me


then why are you on this website its only stated goal is to provide people with tools to hack and mod their games.

It not like this website is teaching you ways to quit smoking or how to change the oil in your car.

This site does 1 thing and 1 thing only teach people how to mod/hack games.

So why again are you complaing about modders especially with your Rep on here ..


Your wrong to my friend. This is for modding and hacking yes. BUt we are better than se7ensins. We have evolved. Were not just about modding or hacking. We have everything from rants to music to iPod stuff. Contests and tournaments. We are much more than just " modding and hacking"

They are trying to be sneaky with this, a lot of people have been banned so far (with flashed consoles)...
