Fail: no xbox live party chat on ps3 black ops

As if you needed any more evidence that Activision and Treyarch only care about the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops, this has sealed it. The PlayStation 3 version recently got a much-needed patch, with the added side-effect of this Xbox Live Party Chat message.

The message helpfully warns PS3 users that Xbox Live Party Chat is not able to be used in the "Search and Destroy" multiplayer mode. Of course, since the PS3 doesn't have Xbox Live Party Chat, it's kind of a no-brainer, right?

PS3 users are already pissed off over the reportedly inferior PS3 version of Call of Duty: Lag Drops. This new addition does seem to show where the studio's loyalties lie.

Xbox is by far better.

Yea, I do think PS3 is fun but just the fact that Xbox charges for membership tells you it is way better.


Honestly why rage, its a fact, otherwise you would be paying for PS3 as well.


So, can I ask you a question?
If Xbox were to just now stop charging for Online play, and PS3 started charging, would you think PS3 is better? I also own both systems, I just hate MicroSoft Fan-boys coming on here and saying "Xbox r teh bast cuz it r maek u pae 4 teh mambirshep" Not technically like that, but you get the picture.


The fact of the matter is that since Xbox users have to pay for live, we take it more serious. More serious gamers and a more competitive environment make a better gaming experience.

I own an Xbox, but your saying it's a competetive experience, I understand that but, I have to admit, most of that competetiveness is haters talking sh*t in pre-game lobbies. It's competetive, but not in a good way. If your looking for a safe enviroment for a gaming child, stick with the PS3.

You Can't Make It Any Clearer Than That.

World at War Was Probably The Best Game Treyarch Made In My Opinion.
