Let it be known that Ubisoft really knows about the spirit of giving. Earlier this month, they announced that they would be giving both Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and World in Conflict away — free-of-charge — to celebrate the holiday season. Despite the deadline to grab those games passing, Ubisoft has extended their aptly titled “Happy Playdays” event, this time adding Watch Dogs to the list of free games.

At this point you must be wondering: what’s the catch? There is none. Ubisoft was originally holding this event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of both the Assassin’s Creed series and World in Conflict launch. The addition of Watch Dogs is merely a cherry on top.

Anyone hoping to grab the game only needs to check Uplay or the event’s dedicated webpage. Happy Playdays has been extended until December 23, 2017 — so you have until the end of this week to claim those free games.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that Ubisoft has offered Watch Dogs away. In early November, Ubisoft held a similar promotion only for Watch Dogs — not that I’m complaining about extra charity by way of free games. Especially with the game being as strong as it is; when the game originally released we awarded it a 9.0 out of 10, noting it is an “open world playground redefined.”
