This morning, Steam’s official stats page revealed that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds had passed three million concurrent users on the platform, with today’s peak sitting at 3,106,358, far surpassing the game holding the number two spot, Dota 2 by well over two million players. Of course, it’s no surprise that this game would eventually surpass three million simultaneous players. Back in September, the title reached one million concurrent players and two million back in October and now that the game has finally exited out of Early Access it was only a matter of time until more players started rolling in.
Speaking of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, yesterday PUBG Corp. released its first update since the game left Early Access. Aside from addressing numerous lag issues, the new update also introduced a Killcam and 3D Replay feature into the game.
OVER 3 MILLION!! Thank you all for helping us reach this amazing milestone! GG WP everybody <3 pic.twitter.com/twUQkSkP5U
