Xbox One Elite Controller 2 Apparently Leaked

4.1
Microsoft’s Xbox One Elite Controller is arguably the greatest controller ever made, with a great ergonomic shape, premium quality finish, and multiple, modular input control options for the player; and now, they may be gearing up to introduce a successor for it to the market.

A leak on the popular Chinese website Baidu (via the forum Resetera) has revealed details about the new controller; apparently, it will have a MagSafe style magnetic port, will use USB-C, have rechargeable batteries, 3-level hair locks, 3-Profile switch, Bluetooth for Windows 10, and longer key travel for paddles. We also got some images of this alleged new controller, which you can see for yourself below.

It sounds like the kind of upgrade the Elite Controller deserves, and if this is real, I imagine Microsoft will announce this some time by E3- although I also wonder how much this will end up costing. The original Elite Controller was not cheap.

Never tried the first elite controller probably won't try this one.

I liked it, but I bet it is going to be expensive

Love the elite controller, you can't change much about the controller though (adding extras) it'll just be cosmetic which is pointless.

I really could never get into the elite controllers honestly

I love my Xbox Elite controller.
I always use at least 1 paddle, but I never use all 4. Maybe it's cause I never got used to it but it always felt uncomfortable.
My only complaint is that my hands sweat uncontrollably when I game now. Although the grip on the controller is great and makes it so the sweat doesn't phase me, it does leave my hands smelling nastay
The only new thing that seems cool with this one is that it has bluetooth to windows 10

That's interesting. I actually just got an Elite Controller this holiday season and I actually really like it too. It's feels heavier than regular Xbox controllers and thus feels much nicer in my hands. It feels more premium and with the joysticks being some kind of metal, there is no plastic residue from constantly moving the stick around which is great and feels much better over time.

But just like @SR20DET mentioned, the controller currently has problems on its own. He's exactly right when he mentioned the grip and sick issues. If someone is interested in picking one up, invest the $20 extra and get a replacement or warranty plan from the place you buy it from.

The controller itself also hasn't been in stock on Microsoft.com in a while. This could simply be because the holidays aren't even a month ago, but other retailers have had stock again for a week or so whilst MS is still empty handed. Even all local MS stores in NYS are out of stock. See for yourself (as of this post, they're OOS on the website):

Didn't like how the paddles were on the first elite controller I had so I sold if. Hopefully this one is better and more like how Scuf has their paddles now.
