Kinect and RRoD is no coincidence, ZDNet implies

An editor from ZDnet has placed serious doubt that Kinect and RRoD on the Xbox 360 is a coincidence. He claims that the complaints about the Kinect RRoD issue keep flooding in and suggests that owners of an older Xbox 360 shouldn't connect a Kinect to it. That is unless they are willing to 'shell out the dough on a replacement console'.

I am 99% sure that it only RRoD's with the Xenon Motherboards (Zephyrs might too)

So if you have a Xenon (and maybe a Zephyr) Xbox I wouldn't suggest getting Kinect

My cousin had a Xenon and it RRoDed 4 hours after he connected it to a Kinect Sensor bar.

Also, i think its related.
I've had 2 Friends who got rrod on there xexons' only when they got kinect..

Pretty weird.
