Xbox All Access Will Come with Xbox Live, Game Pass, and Console

3.5
Microsoft is attempting to pave the way for new ways to provide games and services to potential customers—called “Xbox All Access,” this program will provide Xbox Live, Xbox Game Pass, and a physical Xbox One console through monthly payments. Brick and mortar Microsoft Stores will have two bundles: one with an Xbox One S, the other with an Xbox One X.

For $24.99 a month, the Xbox One S bundle will come with the console, along with 24 months of Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass, the latter service providing access to over 100 Xbox games like Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Likewise, a similar bundle with the Xbox One X will also come with 24 months of each service, with a monthly price of $34.99. There will be no upfront cost for the program, but customers will have to apply for a Dell Preferred Account.

Anyone willing to do the math in their head will find that the value of the bundles will be roughly less than or equal to the cost of purchasing everything separately. The novelty of paying monthly for a physical console is unlike anything else the industry has done thus far—those who’d like to take part in this experiment can do so at their nearest Microsoft Store for a limited time.

This is a damn good idea for people who can't pay upfront

I might actually do this with an Xbox One X, can't reallt justify dropping that in cash after just buying a PS4 Pro so this is a nice alternative.

Kixa Pretty cool idea honestly, i wish they had this sooner.

I wonder if, when they release the next generation console, this will be around at launch. Would be cool in my opinion, especially since this is a test

LGW This is an excellent idea, hats off to Microsoft.

I'm really hoping this sets a trend in the gaming community and other developers will follow their path
