Earlier this morning a magnitude 6.7 struck the Japanese northern island of Hokkaido. According to NHK, the quake caused four deaths while dozens are still missing at the moment of this writing.
Apparently, Nintendo decided to delay the livestream as a consequence. A new date has not been announced, but the official Twitter account advises that it will be provided “in the near future.”

At the moment, we don’t precisely know what the Nintendo Direct was supposed to showcase, besides the fact that it was about upcoming Switch and 3DS games.
Of course, we’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear about the new date, but for the moment all we can do is to wait for further information.
