Red Dead Redemption 2 Had Over 3,000 People Work On it

Red Dead Redemption 2 will end up being one of the most ambitious games ever made when it is out, by all accounts—and that was something that could only be achieved by the combined effort of a lot of people. According to Rockstar themselves, there are over 3,000 people who have worked on Red Dead Redemption 2 over the course of its entire development cycle.

That’s a really large number of people—but as mentioned previously, the game looks incredibly ambitious, and far beyond most, if not all, other video games on the market today, so it looks like all that effort by so many people really ended up paying off. And those 3,000 people were from across the full spectrum of Rockstar’s studios around the world—England, Scotland, India, United States, and Canada. Meaning that unlike a lot of previous games by the publisher, there was no one single publisher who really can be singularly credited for the game, but rather, all of them

If you want to take a look at the full list of people who have worked on the game, you can see it for yourself here. Rockstar has posted a very nice message for all the people who contributed to the game, and credited them directly on a new page on their website. Red Dead Redemption 2 launches for PS4 and Xbox One on October 26. If you want to see the fruit of those 3,000 people for themselves, make sure to check out these leaked 23 seconds of footage from the game.

3000 people? That is an insane amount! I didn't think it would've been a number that high but the game it self is beautiful, runs perfect and I have no complaints about it. Rockstar has built a master piece with a very interesting story, and prequel to RDR1.
