Treyarch’s decision of removing quick scoping from the last CoD title – Black Ops didn’t really please fans of the series who had got into a habit of using it to their advantage during multi-player sessions. However, Infinity Ward doesn’t intend to follow on their footsteps and have hinted that the feature might make it to the final build of Modern Warfare 3. IW’s community manager Robert Bowling strongly hinted that quick-scoping might be retained for the title during a AMA (Ask Me Anything) session which he held over at Reddit.
“Currently, you can still quick scope in Modern Warfare 3. Keep in mind though, multiplayer is always changing at this stage (new perks, new balancing, new everything all the time based on feedback), however our philosophy on that hasn’t changed since MW2.”
This is good news if you’re fan of quick-scoping as it seems they intend on retaining it for Modern Warfare 3.
Modern Warfare 3 releases this November for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
i do not like qs coz people think they have skill when they qs and dont be bays guys im still buying it and i guess optic wont be on that game but as long as they is no one man army or noob tubs im good coz that get old fast and hop they is no way to boost in the game have a good day ttg people.

are u mental kid, he clearly states that there will be quick scoping just that with all the new perks and guns will be able to counter a person using a sniper, u my good sir are dumb.
The Funny thing is neither of you are 100% correct. He states that at this point it is possible. But as theyre integrating new perks, guns, kill-streaks, etc things may change. So no both of you my good sirs are dumb.

iAmMasterF they should bring it back look how crap black ops was without it.. treyarch always ruin cod games... i'll go back to mw2 even cod4... but i'll never touch waw or black ops once mw3 releases.
What are you talking about? WaW was like waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Black Ops and MW2. MW2 Sucked my balls so hard, they turned black and blue. If you think MW2 was good, give me a reason. Because i cant go in a game without spawning in the enemys [)ick or being spawned trapped every domination game with wannabe quick scopers that try to do 360s all the damn time or without being one hit by a ump from across the map or without me or my whole team being instantly killed 2 seconds into the game by a noob tube.
If your going to complain about how MW2 is bad then gtfo. Infinity ward is the backbone of call of duty. cod 4 started the whole call of duty craze ... waw just hopped on and wasn't impressive. MW2 Brought it back , black ops knocked it down. hopefully call of duty wont follow this pattern , its as simple as this. Cut treyarch , keep infinity ward

You obviously havent played the first cods. Cod 2 was amazing, there was nothing bad about it. Cod 3 was Eh since it was mainly just vehichle based. Cod 4 was really good, a few over powered stuff, but it was resonable. Cod WaW was excellent. I know people may think it was bad because it brought it back to wwII but they needed to finish their story. Plus they had zombies and realistic grenades how you can blow somebody bodys apart. And with all those lovely bolt action snipers, those were the days. Sure juggernaut, the MP-40, and the knife made us angry at some times, but we still got over it. MW2 Was the downfall. Non dedicated servers, too many over powered weapons. The ability to boost. The little kids who think MW2 is real Qs-ing. The UMP-45. The noob tubes. Spawns. Match making. Campers. Commando. The FAL shotgun sniper. Everything. Those made us mad. We go and try to calm down and jump back in and get pissed again. BO brought it up a bit. There are still over powered weapons, but atleast they got nerfed recently. Second chance is still a problem. Too many people use ghost, but i dont care. The Gay mores are silent and can blow up from the side. The spawns in team based matches are messed up. The zombies are stupid because you can get either 1 hit or slapped 4 times in 2 seconds with their windmill attack, not like in WaW how they will wait a minute before attacking. Theres the whole story of cod and its multiplayer really.

Oasis I can't wait to see a team ruined by a qs'er going 5-18 just like MW2. All because some scrub wants to up and edit it all from theatre mode so they can show it to their boyfriends. This will be a bad decision to include qs'ing and MW3 will only end up having to spend time changing it if enough players consider it bad enough in the final version of the game.

when your a competitve sniper like me, and you go 30-5 in ffa's and are ranked top 50 in north america, then im sure it would be a pleasure to have someone like that on your team. just because you cant uickscope yourslef and ur the kid that is going 5-18 dont talk trash about quickscoping
