Modern Warfare 3: No plans for zombies anytime soon

It's been speculated for a while now that Infinity Ward might include Treyarch's popular zombie mode into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but all rumors can now be put to rest. During a recent interview with GZ, Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling revealed that the zombie mode is something that they would never add to their game.
"Treyarch's alternate direction has turned out fantastic. Rather than trying to cannibalize each other, they do things that we would never do, but have turned out fantastic, like their zombie modes, and added new features to multiplayer that we would never add, just because they have a different style."
Treyarch's zombie mode is very popular and has received new maps in every DLC. Although MW3 has the new Spec Ops survival mode as a "replacement", many fans will still be disappointed.

TTG_Gumby Bowling states that every developer has their own personality, not true. Treyarch added the aome of the same weapons that were in Mw2 into black ops.


because guns are guns maybe? HELLO! You will see the M16, AK47, the MP5 or MP5K, and the M1911 pistol in ALL of the games. Neither one of the developers own the rights to the guns. So are you saying that the devs from Battlefield, Medal of Honor, Homefront, etc. can't use those guns. Common sense. As for zombies, WaW was the best for it. Now in BO they went a little too far in my opinion. Zombie Monkeys? Come on.

Why do you hate zombies? The only reason I bought BO was for it, the multyplylayer is shocking and it just livens the experience with zombies..

EChondo I think anyone with a brain would know that Infinity Ward would never put a Zombies mode in any of their games.

IMO I hate Zombies, it never makes sense and Treyarch has added way too much "features" that destroyed playing Zombies for me.


I feel you there man. they ruined it by making all these stupid complicated easter eggs...and dont even get me started on George...

Agreed is getting abit old now but is still fu n i think they should go more towards spec ops
