Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Footage Leaks

Battlefield 3 may be in its closed alpha stage in which leaked footage is strictly forbidden, but to the delight of FPS fans everywhere, that clearly hasn't stopped this YouTube user. Ironically playing a military shooter as an American soldier, a player with the username, "UsamaFTW", uploaded a short montage of the game's multiplayer mode. This is of course from the PC version, but everything fans know and love from the Battlefield games can be seen here. Vehicular combat, massive, open-ended maps, and shockingly, guns that actually seem to have recoil when you fire them. Also worth noting is the impressive melee combat shown off at around 2:00 and the fact that DICE is clearly coming through on their promise to include destructible environments (watch at 2:35).

Again, Battlefield 3 is currently in its alpha stage. So this footage isn't a concrete representation of what you'll get when the game launches this October. Sure, the console version may not look as pretty, but just the idea of taking out window campers with a single rocket is enough to peak my interest.

DecyferGaming Don't get me wrong I like Cod but the only difference I see Per new game is new weapons, maps and storyline. I mean Cod is predictable and thats what makes it boring. DICE made major changes and added much more new stuff to look forward to, which will make BF3 take over the throne for game of the year. I'm not gonna brag but the new engine looks sweet. Eventhough, I haven't played any of the games yet, BF3 looks so much more interesting and better. Realism > Non-Real. Destructive Environments..? Vehicles..? thats what you call Modern Warfare.


yeah, i mean bf practicly writes a new engine for each game, which makes it so much better. in bfbc2 the explosions are incredible, i blow up tanks just to see it, and cod has had the same helicopter spin out and disipear in mid air since cod4. im selling my cod games couse of bf now.

freezahhhh Lol im probably going to get haters but, i think that Mw3 is a much better game than this :) but anyway Mw in general is a fast past game that keeps the players Happy and having fun... BF3 is more of a tactical defense game, i really dont see any fast past action in this game what so ever.... AND the only reason people are chanting on at this game is because of the Graphics... BIG DEAL!!! and the only reason people hate on both games is because they're either So bad at the game they come up with the most retarded Excuses ever!!! thats what i think... Haters can come on now :D


i used to feel the same way, but seriously, bfbc2's rush mode is faster. im trading in my cod games cause of bfbc2. seriously try it

This multiplayer should amuse you for a good 2 hours. Then you'll be trading it back in to get MW3.

I believe people are talking bout the game engine, not the actually game itself. Which has been the same since CoD 4 and not changing for MW3 (same code, new skin.) Where BF3 is using the NEW Frostbite 2.0 engine, BC2/1943 used 1.5, and BC1 used 1.0.

Okay yes they the same engine but it is updated to the extreme. I dont see why you like this game so much, i mean yeah im going to buy it and im not hating on it at all, its just people complain about the most stupidest stuff and they are all like "ohh the new frostbite 2 engine is soooo amazing and i love it so much" we will wait and see which games gets more people on its server's and KEEPS them playing.

CoD 4 was released in 2007, its now 2011. They are still using the same code. If you ask me that is just pure laziness on the developers. We are paying what, $60 for the games, another 60 through out every year, For them to sell us the same game with a different skin, new guns and different perks ? (could have released all as DLC for COD4)

Yes MW3 will probably be good as well, and yes it will probably out sell BF3 by millions, But those millions of people are going to be stuck with the same problems since cod 4. Shitty host picks, extreme lag, host migration, awful hit detection, "host" team wins, The list goes on. For a company that is raking in billions of OUR dollars they could at least setup dedicated servers. MW3 will always dominate due to the fact anyone can pick it up and be good (noob friendly. Im just saying and many other long time cod fans will say, We are just sick of it. Change your game.

Not Hating On you and I respect you for your opinion and stuff but the only reason why I love battlefield 3 a lot and why many others do too is because I love the destruction and how everyone needs to work as a team in CoD games all people ever do is just run around with their gay ass perks and cry if you take one of their kills and you now that it is the truth.
