Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Footage Leaks

Battlefield 3 may be in its closed alpha stage in which leaked footage is strictly forbidden, but to the delight of FPS fans everywhere, that clearly hasn't stopped this YouTube user. Ironically playing a military shooter as an American soldier, a player with the username, "UsamaFTW", uploaded a short montage of the game's multiplayer mode. This is of course from the PC version, but everything fans know and love from the Battlefield games can be seen here. Vehicular combat, massive, open-ended maps, and shockingly, guns that actually seem to have recoil when you fire them. Also worth noting is the impressive melee combat shown off at around 2:00 and the fact that DICE is clearly coming through on their promise to include destructible environments (watch at 2:35).

Again, Battlefield 3 is currently in its alpha stage. So this footage isn't a concrete representation of what you'll get when the game launches this October. Sure, the console version may not look as pretty, but just the idea of taking out window campers with a single rocket is enough to peak my interest.

MERSHY999 personally not great the graphics seems slightly cartooney kinda like black ops, and the game is much slower paced call of duty still the game that ill prefer between the two.
but still a good game,
looks not great, killing people takes an age and the guns and gameplay just do not match up to COD

No Actually more realism means it will be more fun. And to the original kid, don't be a stupid Fanboy. You are just blinded by your ignorance and love for COD. BF3 looks great, and the other kid is right. In real life, you don't rush with a UMP45 silenced and kill 6-7 guys right there. And c'mon, unscripted explosions? That just seals the deal.

You guys really lost the meaning of why he said "You're the biggest idiot." the reason he said that is because the kid said the graphics on BF3 look wack and the same as Black Ops, which makes him an idiot or just a nice comment towards BF but mostly an idiot because the graphics you see are from it's Alpha stage which means they aren't even polished, nor will the graphics you see here be the same as when it's released. So it's clear to see BF3 will have better graphics than Black Ops.

Also this guy tried to make BF3 look as wack as possible

Looks good theyve upped the pace a bit maybe it would take over cod but im still sure that the fast paced action of mw3 will dominate especially since there are 3 studios working on mw3 which i think is epic.

The one thing I never truly understood is why people are happy CoD isn't realistic.

Halo: Based in 2552, has aliens and god weapons. They have the right to not be realistic.

CoD: It's based in our time and on a realistic subject. It's called modern warfare, but honestly it seems more like fantasy warfare.

Then again it's all opinion. If you want to quickscope 24/7 be my guest. Just don't bash on people who prefer playing like the game was intended.

As for the people that re complaining about the graphic. Four questions.

1- Do you realize it's in closed alpha stage.?

2- Do you have it set on 1080p?

3- Does your computer even run 1080p?

4- Do you have vision problems.

I just ended a game in Blops and the graphics can't even be compared.

Well little kids screaming when they got knifed does not have to do anything with the actual game, also have you seen any videos of MW3 multiplayer....no.

I believe people are talking bout the game engine, not the actually game itself. Which has been the same since CoD 4 and not changing for MW3 (same code, new skin.) Where BF3 is using the NEW Frostbite 2.0 engine, BC2/1943 used 1.5, and BC1 used 1.0.
