What was said by a UK retailer some weeks ago has now been said by Activision to be true worldwide; pre-orders for Modern Warfare 3 are tracking “significantly” ahead of last year’s Black Ops.
Acti CEO Bobby Kotick relinquished the info in the company’s Q2 2011 results report: “To date, pre-orders for Modern Warfare 3 have significantly exceeded the pre-orders for Black Ops at this time last year.”
A Black Ops vs predecessor Modern Warfare 2 sales update is also provided: it’s 25 and 22 million units, respectively.
Nicasus I think it will just keep going up. Next years release by Treyarch will probably outsell MW3, and Infinity Ward's version in the year after THAT will outsell the Treyarch version.
But I can't wait to get my hands on MW3!

Yes but your saying that about a gun which is supposed to be that powerfull in game forms. it also takes alot more skill and are extremely inaccurate when hipfiring. you could run around spraying your ump .45 mowing down tons of people yet with the intervention if you do decide to quickscope, takes alot of skill.

No one should hate on this game till they play it. Yess every game in the world has things we want to change about it. Thats the whole problem when you have 25 million playing the same game. out of those people of course some are going to hate it. A game can not be made to make everybody happy. the only reason Call of Duty does so well is that it satisfies more people than it pisses off.
All in all Buy COD and BF dont give us your opinion on which is better because the other 25 million dont give a flying $^#$ what you think.
