Publisher Deep Silver has unleashed the launch trailer for Dead Island ahead of the game's September 9 UK release. Developed by Techland and set on a tropical open world island, the zombie action game blends first-person combat with RPG elements. With firearms and ammunition very scarce, it has a heavy focus on melee combat, so players scrape together and combine items they find to make new tools of destruction. The title's campaign can be played with up to four players in co-op mode. Check some co-op action out in this trailer released earlier this month.
