Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition contents detailed

Purported details of the fanciest version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the Hardened Edition, have turned up online.


Wired has got hold of a photo of what is reported to be a European retail poster for the Hardened Edition, the contents of which were supposed to stay on the down low until Call of Duty XP in Los Angeles this weekend.

According to the poster, the special package includes:

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 game with unique disc art.
One year of membership in Call of Duty Elite.
“Founder status” on Elite with exclusive in-game emblem, player card, camouflage, clan XP boost and other exclusive benefits.
SteelBook case.
PlayStation Network exclusive: “Animated Timeline Theme.”
Xbox 360 exclusive: “Special Ops Juggernaut Xbox Live Outfit.”
Limited-edition “field journal” with more than 100 pages of “authentic military sketches, diagrams and written entries.”
Expect official confirmation over the weekend. You can see the poster below.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 releases on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November.

question is how much map packs will mw3 have? remember how the first MW had only one, and how MW2 had 2?
MW2 had three

nope pretty sure it only had two
Resurgence and Stimulus

so that might mean its 3 there are 20 maps on the dam thing

I guess i could Cancel my Pre-order for Battlefield 3 and get this cause The DLC on its own will cost a total of $60, Hirshberg said... http://www.gamespot.com/events/codxp2011/story.html?sid=6332574 and i'm a bigger fan of Call of Duty than Battlefield and i think more of my friends will be playing Modern Warfare 3 also it's no reason to buy 2 shooting games

This sucks cause if i want to get Call of duty Elite i have to get it now with the hardened edition cause it's $49.99 annual membership for premium members and if i get a map pack and than get this it's a waste of money... and with Call of Duty Elite you keep the map pack forever...
