Play as Ellis and explore the Burkittsville woods with your dog Bullet in Blair Witch by Bloober Team, coming to Nintendo Switch Summer 2020.

During Nintendo’s March 2020 Indie World showcase, Blair Witch by Bloober Team and Lionsgate Games is coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Blair Witch was the first game shown during the montage near the end of the showcase. While it wasn’t much to go by, it was a brief peek of what to expect from the Nintendo Switch version. Most notably, you will be able to play the game on the go.

Bloober Team also revealed a new trailer for the Blair Witch Nintendo Switch version on Twitter. The tweet reads, “Blair Witch is coming to Nintendo Switch. Immerse yourself in the disturbing atmosphere of the Black Hill Forest anywhere, anytime!” From the trailer, it seems it seems graphics have taken a bit of a hit with muddled environments and models. But it seems the overall atmosphere is still intact. Check out the trailer below.

Set in 1996, Blair Witch lets you play as Ellis, a former police officer who may not be in the most mentally stable state. You are tasked to search the Burkittsville woods with your dog Bullet for a missing boy. This quickly turns wild as the Blair Witch begins to torment you.

Bloober Team has recently become known for its quality horror titles. Beginning with 2016’s Layers of Fear, they have gone on to develop Observer, Layers of Fear 2, and the previously mentioned Blair Witch. Layers of Fear and Observer are both available for the Nintendo Switch.

Good to see the switch getting new games. I'll always be happy to support that console.

This game wasn't that great, at least the switch library is growing more!
