DICE Lashes Out at Angry BattleField 3 Fans

Things hit the fans recently on the BattleField 3 EA UK forums.

It seems that certain members of the community forum weren’t too happy when it was announced that Operation Metro was going to be the provided map during the beta testing period of the game. This announcement came AFTER DICE had previously claimed otherwise, that the Operation Metro wasn’t going to be used for beta. Apparently some fans had their hearts set on a different map to play during the beta ( one that would allow up to 64 players ) and became somewhat upset by the news.

When the complaints became loud a forum moderator shared his opinion on the matter:

DICE Lashes Out at Angry BattleField 3 Fans

Almost immediately after the mod hit the submit button on his post the entire thread was deleted, but not before someone made the above screen shot of it.

Was the mod’s response to the disgruntled fans in this case appropriate or over-the-top?

I think that what he said was right, they are doing all this for fans and all they can always do is complain, no matter what game it is, CoD, BF, GoW, people always complain.

RemeAmaze This guy is a ****, They are lazy as **** using the same map. Also when i buy limited edition MOH i get 2 days early are you taking the piss **** off. The community should control the making of a game as we are the customers and we know what we want, if they don't have the skill and man power to achieve what we want then they can **** off. Employ more staff if you don't want to work overtime just because there jews and want the biggest profit margins isn't my fault


You do know you will rarely get paid for overtime? They used overtime hours to perfect a game you will buy and no life the sht out of it and buy every dlc out there.

wtf kid? gtfo you realize theres like 300 people at dice right? not alot of people for a huge game also they cahnged the map from alpha and they wanna see how it plays out so next time make sure you put your tampon in the right way

Ive played Alpha and actually i want to play this map again on my console now, to me im not upset about it, but it would be nice to have a different map, but Metro is the best i believe.

Its kinda ridiculous that people are complaining about a game that really isnt going to come out in like a month from now...

Well since I already played that map in the Alpha, I would have liked to have a different map to play on...
