The Battlefield 3 beta went live today, but codes were only dished out to those who have pre-ordered the game on Origin or previously bought the Medal of Honor Limited Edition.

We thought you might feel left out so, because we never like to see you sad, we jumped in there and took a load of footage from the Battlefield 3 beta ourselves. Nearly 11 minutes' worth from the PS3 version, to be more precise.

If you didn't get early access, hopefully this will keep you going until September 29 when the Battlefield 3 beta will be made available to one and all on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
