Modern warfare 3 tops most wanted list this holiday

A new survey reveals that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the most-wanted game this Holiday season. No, really?
Nielsen’s survey polled 5000 gamers between August 21 and September 17, and aggregated data from a staggering 417,433,251 online conversations. That's a lot of fuss and expense to prove what the rest of us could have told ‘em for nothing – Modern Warfare 3 is the top of everyone’s wishlist. Yours too, even if you haven’t realised it yet.
In quantitative terms, though, Activision’s wartime shooter wins out big-time, taking a 27% share of votes on Nielsen’s countdown. That’s more than double the number cast for its chief rival, Battlefield 3, which gets a 12% share down in seventh place.
The rest of the Nielsen ‘Games to Watch’ top 20 is as follows, along with the percentage of respondents who voted each game into their top five. If Madden NFL 12 seems somewhat highly placed that’s because the survey was conducted Stateside – which probably explains why FIFA’s in 14th place. Otherwise there are few surprises below

15. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (8%)
16. Dead Island (7%)
17. Kinect Sports: Season 2 (6%)

Thornygull I love all you childish CoD fanboys commenting and talking trash about bf3 because its lower on the list. Everyone knows mw3 will outsell bf3, but that does not make it the better game. Also you cant talk trash about a beta and its issues? A beta is in place to find the issues before the game even comes out. May i ask where is MW3's beta? Oh yea, thats right IW is to stubborn and stuck up to admit they need one. Anyone else notices every CoD since WaW has been broken on launch day? and for the first few weeks there are incredible glitches that ruin gameplay? I would also like to see just ONE i mean JUST one CoD fan give reasons why they think mw3 is better, but none of them can. All you little kids know how to say is "COD IZZZ TEH BEST GAME EVA!!!" No one actually gives supporting facts to back up their opinion. Also so your saying Battlefield has terrible servers? I'm pretty sure the servers will be working perfectly on launch day, continue to enjoy your Cruddy and laggy hosting system :)


The game took 3-4 years to make and yet it has 20 glitches. The servers are trash. The graphics were over hyped. The guns have way to much recoil that it ruins the game. The attachments are dumb. Bipod on Sub machine gun? The game has half of the enemy team laying in the grass with their bipods.

Anything else? I can continue.

But then... you actually think and go "oh wow, what am i thinking, this is a beta and mostly all of my points are because its a public beta (glitches, servers, graphics)" You are obviously a codfanboy and unable to actually handle any recoil or realism in a game. Enjoy your mw2 DLC.


......To be honesty i think they released the Beta to be able to find the glitches before release..... or they would be fixed before beta and another thing is if the beta was never here you would still have all them bug's & glitches now when CoD is released no one finds anything on the first day everyone is for the Gameplay......Now im not no fanboy i like both games the same.... BF3 Has great graphics while MW3 will have great Survival Mode !
