Call of Duty Elite Membership to be sold on the dashboard for $49.99 or 4,000msp

Thanks to these images supplied by an unknown source, we now know that the Call of Duty Elite service will feature payment plans via the Xbox dashboard. The paid service, which includes free DLC, eight times the file sharing storage as the free version, and daily tournaments where they can win real-world and virtual prizes, will cost $49.99 per year. Alternately, you can pay 4000 Microsoft Points ($50.00), or purchase the Hardened edition of Modern Warfare 3 which will include a free 1 year subscription to the Elite service.

Graffitii Why cant they just give us it coz why should we pay for xbox live we bought the xbox and games and msp so just give us free xbox live.
then we would have to deal with all of the problems ps3 has had like garbage host and getting hacked every month

i wouldnt mind getting this on the ps3 only becuz psn is free unlike gold. but to me its totally not worth it on the xbox

Whisper This is actually a really good deal. Think about it this way, you pay $15 for each map pack, so with 4 map packs you are already spending $60. So this would be worth it, and it comes with all the extra things. You guys complaining need to see the real picture, this is a really good deal and you know it.

The last time i checked it's sledgehammer games doing multiplayer do you have hard evidence of only two map packs coming for MW3? You don't ahhhh Bummer. That goes for everyone IW is no longer its sledgehammer with an IW spokesman Respawn.com is IW now


It is proven there will be 3 mp's.

So do the math. That's $45 out of the $50 right there.

It's a question of "Do you want to spend $5 on the rest of what Elite has to offer?"

Anyway, considering i buy all the map packs, and i get the other features for premimum elite that i dont really care about to be honest, its worth it.

Now go back to the BF forum and post some tweets from DICEs twitter.

And if you cant come up with $50 in a year for XBL, i feel sorry for you.


No hes already a BF fan boy that will hate on everything thats COD. And its not overpriced, what dont you people seem to understand about that. Free map packs, free game modes, and other features. You would pay more for actual map packs then the service.

And i hate when people seem to think Elite premium is requried, it is not required. You already get all the features when you buy the game, you just got extra features for $50.

During the summer i had a job that payed $24 an hour but i only worked 5 hours a week. So i only had to work 5 hours to afford a year of elite and live which honestly isnt much.

And no im not posting to increase my post count, im posting to talk about the article.



So just somebody who trashes cod and does not even mention BF is automaticly a BF fanboy? Thats just stupid. COD elite is over priced. We will need to pay an extra like $10-$20 bucks for "Member" features, so there is really no point in buying elite if member features are $10-$20 bucks.
