With the pre-orders beginning as of September 22nd for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, Microsoft has tweaked its marketing around the next-gen consoles that are slated to launch earlier in November.
A few days after announcing Xbox Series S officially, along with the retail price and release date for both Series X and S, Microsoft updated its website with two new pages for its upcoming next-gen platforms, showcasing all the unique features and details of each console in an impressive way. Lately, the websites have been updated with the images of the consoles’ official retail box art. Here you can check them out:
Xbox Series X will be available on November 10th for $499 while Xbox Series S will only cost you $299, arriving on the same day. It’s going to be the first time ever that Microsoft starts a new generation with two different consoles. Xbox Series X is an incredible powerhouse designed for delivering the best experience for 4K resolution at 120 FPS. On the other hand, Xbox Series S is supposed to bring the same performance for 2K resolution at up to 120 FPS, with no disc drives.
Although Microsoft couldn’t deliver Halo Infinite just in time as a launch-title for its next-gen platforms, there are still some anticipated titles launching on November 10th on Xbox Series X and S. Furthermore, Microsoft has signed a deal with Electronic Arts to bring all the games from EA Play into Xbox Game Pass at no additional cost in Holiday this year.
Xbox Series S was supposed to be revealed through an online showcase this week, but some unexpected leaks forced Microsoft to reveal it sooner than the planned time. That being said, Microsoft will probably hold another showcase in the coming months to announce the new projects from its internal studios as promised before.
