Modern Warfare 3 gameplay trailer shows gun progression

There's over three minutes of Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer footage below in a new trailer focusing on the game's weapon progression.

Infinity Ward says the video will help you grasp "how MW3 evolves gun progression with its new weapon ranking system."

It adds: "The new progression system is designed to improve specific weapon leveling unlocks (camo, attachments, reticles etc.), and features new weapon proficiencies. Proficiencies allow players to specialize their weapons with new attributes (some unique to specific weapon classes)."

Not trying to start one, I'm just saying, this is almost the same system BF3 is using, and this game seems to contain no original content. Opinion is stated.

This game is like a mixture between BO and BF3. First, i saw alot of people have different RDS, so we can probably change them. Also, the gun leveling is exactly the same as BF3. Its like bringing all of those things back into COD4 which was my favorite game. Despite the non oringinal ideas, the game will be pretty good.

Zerkos Now this is mainly why i enjoy cod4, it was a simple run and gun experience, and no one had a real advantage, all the kill streaks where the same.
This made the good players stand out, because that is what was needed just pure skill with your weapon, well now the're messing with this every year by adding on a whole load of things to "help" people get kills. i say back to basics.
