MW3 DLC - 20 Pieces Confirmed Over 9 Months

There’s a heck of a lot of DLC in store for Modern Warfare 3. Twenty different pieces, to be exact.

In this week’s PlayStation Store update, the PS Blog lends this description to the CoD Elite 1-Year subscription: “All the MW3 DLC (20 pieces) during the 9-month DLC season starting early 2012. Includes multiplayer and special ops maps.”

That’s a fair bit more DLC than any CoD before it. Black Ops had five extra map packs post-launch. And spread over 9 months suggests we’ll see at least two packs a month. Perhaps then these packs will be cheaper than previous offerings?

If this is a push to get people to use Cod Elite then so be it, but if they expect us to pay $20 a pop for 9 DLC when some other people who pre-ordered get for free, then their heads are way too far up their **** to release DLC.

there is no season pass...just elite and non elite

If you plan on getting map packs for this game, your best bet is to just buy elite because 20 pieces of dlc isn't cheap, and im pretty sure they won't lower there prices on it either, so lets say this... Let's say if there are 20 different map packs right, they will all be 1200 msp, that would be just about 300$, so you can save right now 250 bucks right now if you buy Elite, that is if all the dlc cost 1200 msp... It's really not that much unless you don't have a job...

That's wrong, it's packs of dlc split up and spread out, this is for Elite premium members, without premium, it's not every month and it not spread out ;)
