Following quality concerns and customer complaints, Sony has removed the game from the PlayStation Store “until further notice” and started offering refunds to customers who purchased it through the online marketplace.
“Following our discussions with PlayStation, a decision was made to temporarily suspend digital distribution of Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation Store,” CD Projekt said in a statement.
“You can still buy physical versions of the game in brick and mortar stores and online. All purchased digital and physical copies of the game will continue to receive support and updates as we continue to improve your experience.
“We are working hard to bring Cyberpunk 2077 back to PlayStation Store as soon as possible.”

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the decision to pull the game from its digital marketplace overnight.
“SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store,” it said. “SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice.”
Earlier this week CD Projekt pledged to improve the overall experience via future updates, but also said customers not wanting to keep the game could opt for a refund.
PlayStation players who bought the game digitally can request a refund here, while Xbox players who bought it digitally can request a refund here.
CD Projekt has claimed it’s not in talks with Microsoft about the possibility of pulling the Xbox One version of Cyberpunk 2077 from sale.
