Battlefield 3 sells through 8 million of 12 million total shipped

In the month of November, EA moved another 3 million copies of Battlefield 3. At least, that's according to numbers revealed yesterday by EA CFO Eric Brown at the Baird Technology Conference in San Francisco (as reported by Game Informer), which has the game selling 8 million units in total across all its platforms out of 12 million shipped.

As with most major game launches, both the shipped and sold amounts of the game have dropped significantly since launch, with two million being pushed to retail from EA in the month of November versus 10 million during the first week. The game's first big expansion -- "Back to Karkand" -- is set to be released some time in December, with PS3 owners getting a crack at it one

I dont understand how people can say BF3 is better than MW3 i went to the midnight release for both games and i had BF3 first, ever since MW3 came out my BF3 has been collecting dust. its so trash compared to Mw3 the same animation when u die its just not as good as people make it seem, on the other hand MW3 is way more fun, and to tell you the truth i heard squeakers on BF3 too so people need to shut their mouth about COD n little kids Ever heard of a Party or a MUTE button ??

Kramatic The game was fun for about a week and then got boring.
i am a battlefield fan i dont really like call of duty, but i agree i have over 150+hours of gameplay on BBC2 but only 18 on BF3


Bad Company 2 was a sick game, BF3 ruined the series for me. I really hope their next installment isn't like BF3.

Pac THEY CAN RELEASE THEIR "Back to Crackland" map pack but the bottom line is this game is complete garbage.
