Nintendo Tokyo recently had a display showcasing the new system and some Twitter users were able to get some pictures, one being Alex Aniel - business manager of Limited Run Games. In several pictures, the OLED can be seen with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the screen.

The system will feature a 7-inch OLED screen, an adjustable stand, a dock with a wired LAN port, 64 GB of internal storage, as well an enhanced audio system that utilizes onboard speakers in both the tabletop and handheld modes.
The Nintendo Switch OLED is set to be released Friday, October 8th, 2021 and is currently available for pre-order for $349.99. However, a lot of retailers are currently out of stock.
In other Nintendo news, a statement was recently issued from the company after allegations arose that although the new OLED model would cost consumers $50 more dollars than the original model, it only cost $10 to make.
Nintendo also recently announced plans of a permanent price cut for the Nintendo Switch. However, this will only apply to countries in Europe and Nintendo has no plans to lower the price in the United States. It has also been rumored that fans may be getting a little bit more nostalgia with Nintendo possibly bringing games from the N64 to the Switch.
