Robert Bowling resigns from Infinity Ward

Today another key figure in the CoD community has stepped down from their official standing. Robert Bowling or fourzerotwo has stepped down from Infinity Ward as a creative strategist. In the years he has been with Infinity Ward he has become somewhat of a icon for CoD players when it comes to new happenings and issues with the games. When a known face like fourzerotwo leaves a company, it’s worth knowing about regardless if you love them or hate them.

He made this announcement via twitter as shown below, Twitter has been the social platform that he most vocally communicated with players.

While we here at TheTechGame have been a home for some of the biggest headaches to fourzerotwo, we recognize his efforts to make the CoD community a better environment for all even in the midst of pesky things like lobbies. We wish him the best of success at whatever he jumps into next.

Update: Here's Activision's official comment on the news: "We sincerely thank Robert for his many years of service. He's been a trusted and valued member of the Infinity Ward team. We wish him all the best on his decision to pursue future opportunities."

You are exactly what is wrong with the CoD community. He was only tweeting and saying what his superiors told him to say. He was constantly monitored. If you are blaming him for either the game producers' or YOUR OWN faults, then you're better off blaming the owner of Activision.

first of all, everyone is entitled to their own oppinion so wind ur neck in,and second, its infinity ward(mw2+3) and sledgehammer(mw3) that made mw3 not activision, they are just the publisher u a$$ so think b4 you talk a load of rubish!


I did not say that Activision made MW3, I am just comparing blaming 402 with blaming the owner of Activision. Both are absolutely useless.

who ever made the game should take the blame, if the leader of activision made the game we would be slating them instead. doesnt matter how hard to make a game it is, thats THEIR job,

I agree with Brohoof, Activision has run COD and IW into the ground they call the shots and the whole 1 game a year thing, tbf i dont blame Robert for quitting hes a great guy.

TTG-- Dead on, the guy was a total plank! innit for the money springs to mind, infinity ward sucks the proverbial. i used to be a loyal infinity ward cod fanboy or watever, then i spent 90 on hardened mw3, wat a load of poo, the game is rubbish, and no different from mw2, just some new levels and game modes, now i will never buy another infinity ward title again, now im all about battlefield 3. so robert bowling drop dead u **** and good riddens!!!!!!!

like hell im kidding,couldnt be more serious! cod 4 was the best game they ever made! fact! they could never top it and should have done more with it instead of thinking bout lining their own pockets by upping maps to 1200 and bringing out a new game quicker than the next, iw suck!
