Halo 4 Gets an Official Release Date

Microsoft Studios and 343 Industries have announced via the Halo Waypoint that Halo 4 will be releasing worldwide this fall on November 6th, 2012.

To help you remember this date, the characters of Red Vs Blue (re-imagined in the Halo 4 universe) have devised some highly complex mathematical equations to make sure that you remember not to forget (Video in read more) It’s noteworthy that November 6th is, historically, the day that games within the Call of Duty franchise release. This means Halo 4 could very well be going right up against Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

I hope this game runs Xbox Live just like Halo 3 did, well... atleast until CoD4 Came out. But, I don't mind because Cod4 was actually a REALLY good game and lived well up to the expectations. Same for Halo 3.

Releasing this so they can compete with BO2, sad to say but Halo may just win this battle as I think BO fails.

Pin I've always liked CoD more than Halo.. But I'll be getting this instead of BO2. Black Ops fails and the CoD games are getting more and more boring. Will be nice to try and get into a new game series. ^^


I agree, i played through Halo 3 a long time ago with a mate. It took us all night to complete on co-op and I have to admit it was good fun. It's a shame i didn't follow the story from the start of the series. But I will defo get this instead of BO2.
