Well, it seems Ripple Effect Studios, the developer responsible for Battlefield Portal, agrees that necessary changes are required. In a series of tweets, Justin Wiebe, the Senior Design Director at Ripple Effect Studios, admitted that the concerns of players are justified and that it is taking the developers too long to fix the XP issues and tier 1 progression in the game.
Weibe also answered a few other concerns from the fans. One fan asked if the rule editor will be added to Rush and other objective-based modes, to which he said that it is “in the discussion phase”.
Hopefully, Ripple Effect Studios will figure out the ways to fix the XP and progression issues on hand. In other Battlefield 2042 related news, the game received its third update last month, which seems to fix a number of problems, while a new map is scheduled to release soon.
Thanks for bringing this up. You’re not wrong! It’s taking us too long to get this resolved. Something that should have been simple is proving to be quite complex. BUT…. Look for an update next week. There will be a phased approach to improving the progression in BF Portal. https://t.co/1YCJjD0V9X

So that is tricky. Since those modes were made in Frostbite instead of using portal logic. Would need to be rebuilt from scratch, so it’s in the “discussion” phase. But this would also need a form of spatial editor to pull off in Portal as it requires placement of mcoms etc…. https://t.co/fi5AsN7ZyI
