Set to come out in the end of August, CS GO is a nearly 2GB, First Person Shooting, masterpiece.

Developed by Valve for the Xbox360, Windows, OSx, and PS3 on the Source Engine, this game looks to have something for everyone. With multiple gametypes and maps, whether you like objective based or straight up deathmatch, this is a game that everyone should check out!

Valve has heard a demand that console players have always asked for, with the fully mappable control layout, no matter how you like to play, it can accommodate you!

-ACTIVEz- I doubt this will do good in sales. Look at Ghost Recon, great shooter but no one plays it. CoD has killed any chance any new FPS or TPS has at becoming popular. Other than Gears because that did pretty well until a few months back when it started to die out.


Are you stupid? who the hell wouldn't buy this game its a great game and it's coming out in August, which is still summer for most people. Sales will go up because no new games are planning to come out in this time span. Ghost Recon is s*** okay, why would people buy a game that has a terrible past games unlike CoD and Battlefield, which both have great reps same with Counterstrike Strike Source. Valve has did an incredible job.

What I want is:

+ Cross Console matches for certain gamemodes like deathrun, zombies, and minigames (not TDM because of the advantages between controllers)

Ghost Recon isn't bad if you know what your doing. It's a tactical shooter not a run and gun like other shooter.

This isn't a new fps, they already have multiple games out, but just for pc. This is the first game of Counter Strike that will come out for consoles..
Names of current Counter Strike games:

Counter-Strike: Condition Zero Deleted Scenes
Counter-Strike: Source
And soon to come Counter Strike Global Offensive.


I'm well aware of that. I've played it before. It's new to consoles. That's what I was getting at.
