It's funny because the borderlands developers have said they're is no season pass.

You're don't have to pay 1200 points to be able to play co-op if that's what you mean.

You're paying 1200 points to get the season pass, which lets you download all upcoming DLC at a 33% discount. The season pass includes as mentionend above: "all-new solo AND co-op campaign content and storylines!"
