Rumor - 343 working on Halo 2: Anniversary Edition

According to the rumor section in the latest Official Xbox Magazine, a Halo 2: Anniversary Edition is in the works from 343 Industries. “Following the success of remake Halo: Anniversary, 343 Industries has now started development of Halo 2: Anniversary,” reads the rumor blurb per CVG. We’ll send a mail. Currently, 343 is hard at work on finishing up Halo 4 for release in November.

Halo4 Hate to ruin it, but they already said they're not working on a Halo 2 Anniversary AT THE MOMENT.. they said this two days ago with a Q&A with Expert Zone, I would like to see a H2A is 2014.

As well as it being on the new Xbox, not the Xbox 360.


So it's going to be kind of like a throwback game.

This is a good thing IMO it gives them more time to work on Halo 4

This is cool and all, but I think finishing up their new games should be a priority. Halo 2 was great, don't get me wrong.

back when they announced halo 1 anniversary they said they weren't going to make another halo 2... wtf 343.

halo 1 anniversary
halo 3
halo reach
halo ODST

just a few more wish me luck :)


best of luck so far i have them all and still working original xbox from within a month of it's release and also working controller :) happy memories

Would be a little pointless.

Halo 3 is available on the 360, also still has online.

Although maybe one day, on the Xbox8 or whatever its going to be called. :D

Wow, I didn't expect this. Halo 2 was probably my favorite game for a campaign. They should focus on that after Halo 4 is out.

So far Halo 4 Looks like its going to be great.

Just don't want them to kill the Halo Franchise. :/
