Wii U 'definitely more powerful than 360/PS3' - 5th Cell

Scribblenauts developer 5th Cell has wadded in on the Wii U performance argument to declare Nintendo's new console as "definitely more than Xbox 360 and PS3".

CEO Jeremiah Slaczka said in the latest issue of Game Informer that the Wii U is "definitely more powerful than Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3".
He went on, "It's kind of frustrating to see the rumours and speculation of people going back and forth saying it's weaker or more powerful. It's definitely more powerful."

Developers' responses to question over Wii U's technical abilities have been mixed, but most seem confident that the new console will at least match (if not outperform) current HD consoles.

Microsoft has however, predictably played down the Wii U's appeal saying it's "effectively a 360 when you think of graphical capability".

Hope fully the Wii u isn't like the wii because I wouldnt even buy a wii for a dollar at this point. Just think at all of the people that payed like 700 bucks for one when they first came out.


i would buy one for a dollar then sell it for more epic win

Well the Wii U is probably going to be the samething as the Wii but with the Wii U it's just portable.


Then it's just going to flop again :|. I want a hand held thats like a updates PSP. The PSP was and is the best handheld game console.


I wonder if Microsoft will make a handheld console?

It makes them more affordable using lower end hardware.
the wii was the best selling console so clearly nintendo are doing something right
