Limited edition PS3s now available in the UK

Back in May retailers listed a limited edition Scarlet Red PS3 for Australia. Now the UK will get the red console, plus a white and silver version.

Today three limited edition versions of the PS3 console have launched in the UK, starting with a Scarlet Red console, along with Classic White and Satin Silver - both of which were previously exclusive to Japan.
All three consoles come with a DualShock 3 controller matching the colour of the console, and a 320GB hard drive.

If you haven't already got a PS3 does the choice of three new colours entice you to purchase one? Owners of the traditional black PS3: do you wish your console was a fancy colour?

No, if it's a custom console, it would cost at least $50 extra.

True, but it's just a little extra painting they need to do. They'll end up charging you more than it costs them so it'll be profitable...


i hope they don't charge more, if they do it should be like 5$ extra, or something cheap. and yeah they are just in it for the money...
