Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD sells 120k copies in first week

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD sold approximately 120,000 copies on Xbox Live Arcade in its first week of availability.

Josh Tsui, president of developer Robomodo, told Gamasutra that day-over-day sales of the game are "staying very consistent" thanks to good word of mouth between Xbox 360 owners. "People are [also] more apt to try games that are smaller and downloadable," he suggested.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD costs 1200 MS Points (£10.28) on XBLA. It's due for release on PS3 in August and PC later this year.

Permanent Thats amazing 120k in the first week also i prefer Skate to Tony Hawks


They're both great plays, and the both have their flaws.
I too, prefer Skate > Tony Hawk, although i like somethings in TH than in Skate, and vice versa


I prefer Skate too. It feels more modern to me, and it plays great!

Well I believe it got so many buys because it was only 1200 on the XBL marketplace. People are more apt to download, like it said in the article.


Yeah that is true, i'm just glad it wasn't that much money to get the game.

I liked skate, was pretty good.


I loved skate, my favorite was Skate 2.
Yeah I loved playing the Skate series as well, it was very entertaining.


Stopped you from getting bored :D I think one of them let you design your own skateparks, or that was Tony hawks.

Yeah I think it was Tony Hawks but i'm not too sure about that.
