MW3 PS3 weapon patch notes released, Terminal fix ‘incoming’

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has received some a new weapon balancing patch. Infinity Ward has revealed all buffs and nerfs in a forum post, and announced that the DLC map Terminal will be lag-free by launch.


The changes – listed on the official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 forums rebalance a handful of assault rifles and SMGs:

FAD – increased damage and range
M16A4 – increased damage and fire rate
AK47 – reduced kickSMG’s Buffed
UMP45 – increased damage
MP5 – increased fire rate
PM9 – reduced kick
MP1st is also reporting that the free DLC map Terminal is being patched and an update will be available in time for when it launches on Call of Duty: Elite PS3 August 16.

The fix remedies known matchmaking issues and lag problems with the map.

Yeas this is for xbox as well. They are finally listening to their fans on what to do and what's best.


But the FAD was already extremely powerful,Same as the UMP.I hope they didn`t make the too powerful.


Have to disagree with you there buddy, ive only used the ump45 and fad this prestige (18th) and i feel the FAD is incredibly weak compared to many other guns in this game, but only a slight increase. as for the ump45...should not be touched fullstop

Finally it took them long enough to strengthen the M16. It has been my favorite weapon for every cod.

The FAD and UMP45 do not need increased damage,They are already powerful enough.
