Sony asks you to design the next DualShock 3 controller

SCEA is asking gamers to submit design ideas for its next DualShock 3 controller.

The firm has released a number of different colours over the years, and it plans to release more - designed by you.
"We want to add to our line-up of DualShock 3 colors, but this time we want you to be the designer," says Sony via the US PS Blog.

"Starting today, and ending August 15th, you can ... submit your idea for the design of the next DualShock 3 controller. Whether your design is based on your favorite game or your ideal color, all PlayStation fans will be able to vote on your idea."

Well there are people who do custom cuontrollers for Xbox and you could get a cheaper price rather then buying it from Microsoft since they would probably increase thier prices for a custom controller.
ya i now and if PS3 did this i bet the controllers would be a lot of money=/

same here, if i had the money i would sell controllers with customize able rumble, leds and sweet buttons

OutcastSpartan7 Seriously, I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but they should either move the position of one of the thumb sticks (like Microsoft's Xbox controller) because it's horrible when you are gaming and your thumbs hit together, doesn't happen often, but it happens... Everything else is fine, 6axis is stupid.

Solution? Buy and Xbox.
Oh, just remembered, (I don't console game much any more), but the new throttle buttons (l2 and R2) should be curved inwards not outwards, who'd want their sweat fingers falling off the button instead of staying on the button? (again like Microsoft's Xbox controller).

I don't know, I just see things that can be changed, and I think should be changed.
