Sony asks you to design the next DualShock 3 controller

SCEA is asking gamers to submit design ideas for its next DualShock 3 controller.

The firm has released a number of different colours over the years, and it plans to release more - designed by you.
"We want to add to our line-up of DualShock 3 colors, but this time we want you to be the designer," says Sony via the US PS Blog.

"Starting today, and ending August 15th, you can ... submit your idea for the design of the next DualShock 3 controller. Whether your design is based on your favorite game or your ideal color, all PlayStation fans will be able to vote on your idea."

changing leds would be awesome. But that would get pricey
Ya I agree the controllers would go up to 65-80$ if they put leds in them


ya and then if they made them like carbon fiber or something they would be even more. Adjustable rumbal packs would be sweet tho

very true but they shouldn't have the sticks so close to each other like the OG PS3 controller. i hated that.

thats not what they are going to look like. read the article. we sare designing the new controllers.
